Will It Be The Hussler or Apache Cat?

Weekend Hussler The racing keeps on getting better this weekend as more stars of the Australian turf come back to start their autumn campaign.
The Australian Stakes looms as the great re-match after both the Weekend Hussler and Apache Cat both failed to live up to the heads up billing last start. The Hustler is a funny sort of horse as at his best he looks the greatest thing I have ever seen, and at other times looks like an overrated commodity. The problem is that this race looks right up his alley and he may start very short. If you can get $1.80 about him I would jump at it but I wouldn't be taking $1.60. Apache Cat is getting older and it appears it is taking the baldy faced sprinting machine a little longer to warm

up these days. If the Hussler gets stupidly short then the Cat appears to be good value. Time Thief will be the clear third selection but I really think the top two should be lengths in front of the rest of the small field.
The Oaks winner and the boom young lady of the turf, Samantha Miss steps out for the first time since her impressive Spring and it will be interesting to see how she has matured. She will start a short favourite in the Light Fingers Stakes and if there is good money for her late then expect her to be a class above her rivals.
Hot Danish will resume in the Breeders Classic and it yet again appears that he may be too short to back. I would want better than even money to consider backing him this start but then again the problem is what the hell is going to beat him. My best value bet of the weekend is Arondight in the Alister Clark Stakes and you should get a decent price as Keano will start favourite.
