Action From The Octagon Mixed Martial Arts is a sport on the move. The caged warriors of the 'ground and pound' and the toe to toe combatants of 'swinging for the rails' continue to infect the world with their fast paced style of fighting. I love this stuff, sometimes I think I shouldn't but I do. The incredible thing is compared to boxing its combatants are well educated saints and the sport continues to rely on the fact that it hasn't ever seen any serious injuries suffered by its athletes.
Much of the success must be credited to UFC President Dana White who has transformed the sport into a show with more muscle than boxing and more theatrics than the WWE Wrestling. With that sort of formula no wonder it's working.

Sportsbet.com.au always has some very competitive markets for all the major UFC bouts which makes the sport even more exciting when you can win a few dollars cheering for your man in the ring.
The UFC is off on the 22nd of February to Bristol in England and the Brits can expect a few crackerjack bouts. Diego Sanchez takes on Joe Stevenson in a fight that we have been waiting a long time for. Sanchez has dominated his division for some time now but Stevenson is a classy fighter with a big heart. They both rose to fame with excellent performances in the UFC reality TV shows and this will be one hell of a bout. Stevenson is $2.80 underdog which is around the right price and he will at the very least give you plenty of bang for your buck.
Other fights to watch out for include Daniel Maia who should be too strong for Chael Sonnen and is attractive at $1.36. You might want to take a double with Maia and Josh Koscheck ($1.20) who will have too much experience and power for Paulo Thiago. The double will pay around $1.65 which won't see you retiring but should see you get a collect. 'Let's Get it On!!!!'
