Big Ben Holds The Vince Lombardi Trophy The Superbowl was a fantastic spectacle yet again with the Pittsburgh Steelers resetting the record books by winning their 6th Superbowl. Many experts felt the Steelers were morals, but in the end spectators were spoiled in a close game with the Steelers unable to cover the 7 point spread.
Arizona was unlucky not to win the game as their defense continued its rise to prominence in the post season by yet another stoic performance. When they forced the Steelers into a safety and Warner reunited with his super gun wide receiver Fitzgerald, the $3.50 underdogs looked set to win the game with under 3 minutes left on the clock. Big Ben Rothlisburger led the Steelers on an excellent drive and the Vince

Lombardi Trophy was on its way to Pittsburg.
It's always a good time to have a dig at next year's Superbowl if you have any strong feelings now. Make no mistake the pros will be doing their studying in the next few weeks so there might be a few bargains to snap up early.
For me I think it will be a very close season next year and I would certainly be overlooking both Superbowl starters this year especially Pittsburg who won so many close games along the way. In the AFC, Baltimore looks to have a bright future with young quarterback Flacco being the goods but their Defense is aging. Patriots should be a different team with their superstar Brady back on board, but they might struggle to win what appears to be a strong division now. Indianapolis should also be real contenders especially if Manning can repeat his MVP season. Their biggest threat may be the Houston Texans that are getting close to creating a competitive team. San Diego should easily win their division and if they get things right can be contenders.
The NFC East will continue to be the strongest division and Dallas, New York, Washington and Philly will all expect to make the playoffs. Atlanta should only improve as should New Orleans in the NFC. Arizona will make the playoffs again and experience will always count for something.
So hunt around, do a little bit of study and see if you can pluck a 20/1 winner out nice and early. Think of telling your mates you backed the Superbowl winner 12 months out at a juicy price.
