The golf world turns its focus this weekend to the sunny shores of Pebble Beach in California. This is a truly remarkable golf course and its beauty is unmatched by any other course in the world. The great Jack Nicholas once said "If I only had one more round to play, I would choose Pebble Beach. I've loved this course from the first time I saw it, it's possibly the best in the world".
Well the Golden Bear won't be finding himself on the leaderboard this weekend, but most of the world's best will be teeing off to try and win the AT&T National. Sportsbet.com.au has a wide array of betting options from group, place and of course outright winner. Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson sit on top of the betting and are both at $13.00 to win the title. On the next line of betting you have Harrington, Furyk and Weir who are all under $20 and Clarke, Mahan and Perry all at the 20/1 quote. All this means that the market is very open this year so you will certainly walk away with a nice little collect if you can pick the winner. Other notables include Retief Goosen at $34.00 and Matt Goggin at $41.00. You would think that both of these guys have the ability if they can find some form on the links course. So how about a tip I hear you ask. Well I think Padraig Harrington and Gentleman Jim Furyk both represent excellent value. They should be suited by the golf course and both have excellent temperament. If you are looking for some value try Matt Kucher at around the 60/1 quote who will represent some excellent each way value. News CategoriesRSS xml feed
