The Moto GP season is going down to the wire with two of the sports superstars going head to head for the title.
The reigning world champion Casey Stoner appeared to be out of the race after a shocking start to the season and got out to as much as 30/1. This has all turned around quickly as no one has had an answer to the flying Aussie. He is now at $2.10 to win the title. It just appears that everything has started to work for both his team and his bike and he is riding with an arrogance and belief that is going to make him really hard to beat. His rival is one Valentino Rossi, who is also a true champion, but he is going to have to keep getting results to hold of the red hot Stoner. Rossi, currently at $1.80 to take the tile is on 212 Championship points compared to that of Stoner on 187. This seems like a handy lead but two good races for Stoner and a few failures from Rossi could easily see that turned around. The only other person in any contention is Daniel Pedrosa who is at $21.00 to win the title and is sitting on 171 Championship points. Pedrosa is a great talent but the gap appears too much to bridge. Stoner is certainly the value here and a bet on the Aussie will make for some interesting viewing for the rest of the season.
