What a weekend of football we have in store for us this weekend. It's not often that every game bar one has an impact on the finals this late in the season. The game that doesn't impact on the finals is a derby between the Western Australians which will also be a cracker of a game.
Collingwood and Hawthorn kicks us off on Friday night in what should be a ripper. The line is around 15 and that appears to be the right mark. This is the hardest game for me to pick and the question is will the Hawks bounce back after their tough encounter against premiership favourites Geelong. The Pies just simply have to be better than they were last weekend. The Saturday games are all very interesting. I really like Carlton against Adelaide who will struggle to kick a winning total with no forwards. I also really like North Melbourne to beat Brisbane up on the Gold Coast as I think the Lions are not going well, and the Roos have a list that has experienced tough end of season games last year. Sunday appears to have the bet of the round with the Bulldogs taking on the Swans. The line here is also around 15 and I expect the Dogs to win and win easily. The Swans play well at Manuka but just don't have the cattle on the park to hurt the Dogs. Even if they compete in the middle they would need Hall to turn it on and kick a bag to even stay close. Sportsbet.com.au is the best place for all your AFL betting options. For Victorian punters there is also a footy quad jackpot at the TAB. This is certainly worth a stab at with well over $100 000 extra in the pool. News CategoriesRSS xml feed
