State Of Origin Number Two Preview - Can The Maroons Force A Game Three

State of Origin again will light up the screen as game two kicks off this Wednesday night. The Blues were very impressive against QLD last time out but will start the game as under dogs against the Maroons. The smart money suggests that the Queenslanders took the first game too lightly rather than the Blues playing exceptional football. I think this is a little unfair as the Blues played solid football and answered the Maroons when they challenged late.
It still looks like the Blues dominate the forwards and the Maroons have all the class in the backs. The Maroons will try and hold the big Blues outfit up front and prey they get the chance to spread it wide. The advantage is that they have the support of

their vocal home crowd and have the shame fresh on their mind from game 1. The Blues on the other hand have to play solid grinding football and keep the pace and skill of the Queenslanders out of the equation like they did last time around. If the Queensland side can get the ball quickly out to their explosive backline then they will win and win easy.
The Blues have the advantage of Craig Bellamy as coach who is worth at least 6 points for the Blues. He coaches many of the Maroons at club level and is not afraid at exposing their weaknesses that he knows better than anyone. One thing that is for sure is that this will be one hell of a game.
Sportsbet.com.au has a great variety of different betting options from half time full time doubles to first and last try scorer. The smart money is defiantly on the Maroons to win the game or and cover the handicap. I think this game is far from as clear cut as the market suggests and you can make strong cases for both camps.
