I have been tipping and backing Sergio Garcia for some time here and it was good to see him win a big one last weekend even though I forgot to get on. Well all I can say is that I hope you took my advice and followed the Spaniard who apart from playing very well landed some very nice dividends to some lucky, or should I say astute, punters. This weekend we turn our attention to the Crowne Plaza International.

The big leftie Phil Mickleson is the favourite and is currently around the $9.00 or 8/1 quote. I have a motto that the only golfer I will ever back under $10.00 is the Tiger so I'm afraid I won't be touching Micko this weekend. There is plenty of good value at around the 20/1 mark. You can

expect to get at least this quote on American's Kenny Perry and Justin Leonard and Aussie Geoff Ogilvy is also great value at around 25/1.

Looking down the board someone like Canadian Mike Weir represents some value at around 80/1 and Matt Kuchar is well into triple figures and could land a nice pay day if he was to surprise.

On the other side of the world the BMW PGA Championship is being played and probably has a better field ready to tee off. Favourite there is the Big Easy, Ernie Ells and at 12/1 is certainly the right price to consider. The other player I have always said is well over due is Justin Rose and at 26/1 is better value than his more fancied countryman Lee Westwood.

Probably my favourite golfer, outside of the Tiger, is Retief Goosen. The Goose is nearly unstoppable when he is on his game and at the 33/1 seems great value in this type of tournament. Niclas Fasth is also more than capable of winning this event and again represents great value at around 40/1.

For all of these prices and many other options on not only on golf but a wide variety of local and international sports try Sportsbet.com.au.
