Indian Premier League Betting at PartyBets

The Indian Premier league is going from strength to strength with huge crowds, good ratings and most importantly close and competitive cricket. Sure there are a few things that could be better but give them time and I am sure these teething problems will be addressed.

Probably the stupidest thing so far was the behaviour of Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, the Mumbai captain, who decided to slap Sreesanth a player from the opposition. Considering the two are Indian team mates it appears the hot-headed Singh has no control of his actions or emotions. There has to be doubt about his future in the game if he is continually going to get involved in stupid incidents that bring the game into disrepute.

The 10 game ban levelled at him for this indiscretion is well over due and one can only hope that he gets his brain in order so the cricket world isn't robbed of one of its most exciting talents.

When betting on the Indian Premier League you have to be very careful when it comes to the ins and outs of any team. An excellent example of this is that all the Australian test players are leaving the competition for a camp in Brisbane prior to their Caribbean tour later in May. Some teams like the Punjab Kings will be hit hard and will loose Brett Lee and Simon Katich where as other teams like the Royals who have the likes of Shane Warne, Lehman and Langer won't have to worry.

Speaking of Warnie, he captains the Royals who are my dark horse for the title. They were the only side not to spend their full salary cap and the only side not captained by an Indian. The great man himself, Shane Warne, is playing the role of captain-coach. Anything that allows the fans to watch Warnie bowl competitively again is a great thing and the greatest spinner of all time is still baffling the world's best with his usual barrage of turn and guile. Enjoy it while you can as he will probably only play two seasons until he turns his attentions towards a life at the poker tables.

PartyBets is betting on each individual game so if you feel like a little flutter sign up now through Sportsbetting.Pokernews for an excellent sign up bonus.
