Lebron and the Cavs head into Minnesota to take on the T-Wolves2007-11-21
Ben Williams
The Cleveland Cavaliers look set to bounce back from their disappointing home defeat to the Milwaukee Bucks last night. Tonight, the Cavalier show travels west - to Minnesota. The T'wolves have lost their last two games and only have the one win this season. They will also be weakened by the expected absence of Theo Ratliff, Sebastian Telfair and the already sidelined Randy Foye.
Cleveland will bring in the league leading scorer in Lebron James, who is averaging 35 points in his last four games and shooting over 50%. We expect Cleveland to deploy a fast tempo in this game, thus creating an open and free scoring affair, making the Cleveland -4.0 (early Vegas line) look very attractive! The Cavs won both matchups against the T'wolves last season, going 2-0 and holding them to an average of 82.0 points per game. We expect the Cleveland defense to hold up here, Big Z (Zydrunas Ilgauskus) should control the paint with Ratliff out, placing a lot of pressure on Al Jefferson. While Lebron James should score 30+ to drain the spirits of an undermanned T'wolves outfit. The Minnesota Timberwolves have won only one of their 5 games at the Target Center this season, and it doesn't appear likely the Wolves can improve against the Cavs tonight. Take Cleveland -4.0 with confidence. News CategoriesRSS xml feed
