India and Australia take part in game 7 of their ODI series

The final match of the seven game ODI series between Australia and India takes place tomorrow. Australia take a 4-1 lead into the match and will be keen to add to the lead.

This series has been fiercely fought with racism claims coming from the Australian camp. As well as taunts leveled at Andrew Symonds, the Australians have had to deal with the consistent antics of fast bowler Sreesanth. Sreesanth has been involved with confrontations on the field and off the field whilst performing 12th man duties. The game would normally be considered a dead rubber, but this game will not be played like one.

Another topic that has created plenty of interest during this series has been the mandatory ball change rule. This new rule sees a ball change after the 34th over. Australian captain Ricky Ponting has commented that the change gives the batting team a big advantage. The harder ball gives the batting team a very good advantage for the final 15 overs. If betting between innings it is important to take this into account as we will continue to see larger run chases being successful.

Tomorrow's game could see some changes to the Indian team. There are rumours that Rahul Dravid will make way for Subramaniam Badrinath or Rohit Sharma. Dravid has been in very average form and a change might refresh the Indian middle order.

The Australian's have been well served by opening bowlers Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson throughout the series. They have been supported superbly by Brag Hogg as well. Combine the bowling form with the current batting performances and it would be a brave man to pick against an Australian victory.
