Denver and Seattle highlight a busy day in the NBA

As always, the start of any professional sporting season puts the minds of punters to the test. Pre-season training, practice games including far away adventures to China / London are now forgotten - the real ball is about to begin.



There are eight games today for punters to feast into – with the most important goal of finding and then acquiring that value. I cannot look past Denver at the pre-post vegas line of -11.0. This is offering extraordinary value to punters @ 1.91. Denver will again deploy a fast running offensive style game snd have home court advantage. Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony are fit which will be the difference. It will be a walk over, maybe even 16+. but it will be fun to watch new kids like Seattle's Kevin Durant – who is expected to start. Durant enters this game with a sprained ankle and is still reportedly hobbling, which is never a good sign. Jeff Green, the number 5 overall selection in the 2007 draft (acquired from Boston) is not expected to suit up in Denver, thus placing greater load on Chris Wilcox in the paint.



"I've heard guys talk about (winning) 60 games," said Karl (Denver Coach) – The expectations are great, and the players are placing this on themselves and their peers. Expect nothing less than a win and by a convincing margin to kick start their season.
